The Hague Gallery of Zoetermeer, The Netherlands, has been especially appointed to offer an exclusive 15 Image portfolio of Archival Museum prints of selected pieces of work.
The exquisite prints are produced on Museum Grade Archival Paper, mounted on Dibond and protected by acrylic. The Hague Gallery offers the large size artworks (sizes are 1.25 x 1.25 mtrs/1.50 x 0.75 mtrs) to art lovers all over the world. Limited to an Edition of 10, each print is guaranteed by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Steen.

Both "Distant Freighter" and "Transform" were awarded a place in the Take a View Award Book. Take a View is a yearly Nationwide Competition put in place to find the UK Landscape Photographer of the Year.

"Intertidal" and "Stag Rock Study 4 (Black Water)" were both selected for the "Art in Nature" Exhibition at The Center For Fine Art Photography. The Exhibition is Curated by Kathy Moran, the Senior Editor for National Geographic Magazine.
The Art in Nature Exhibition is on display in the Center’s online gallery and physical gallery from December 4, 2009 – January 9, 2010. The public and artists’ reception will be held in Fort Collins on December 4, 2009 from 6-9pm.
"Ghostly Tide" was selected for the Royal Photographic Society's International Projected Image Exhibition. The Exhibition tours the UK and The Republic of Ireland throughout 2009-2010.

"Compton Rocks" and "Distant Freighter" were both selected for the 152nd Royal Photographic Soceity International Print Exhibition.
The Exhibition will open at Allan & Ovary's Headquarters in London on 19th May 2009 followed by an extensive list of UK Venues throughout 2009 and 2010. For an initial touring schedule click here.
2008

Issue 9 of "Bulb Magazine" featured "The Congenital Landscape" published as a Project and supported by a cross section of images taken from all Portfolios.
Bulb Magazine is a contemporary Magazine, dedicated to the promotion of Photography as an Art Form and whose goal is through the Magazine, to point out creative Photographers, promote their diversity and give them the opportunity to exhibit their work to a bigger and wider audience.

"Inertia" received a Commendation in the UK Landscape Photographer of the Year Competition. It will be be featured in the book of the same name and be part of the Exhibition at the "National Theatre" in London during 2008/2009.
An interview supported by images selected from all Portfolios was published in the Magazine"Neutral Density Magazine".
Neutral Density Magazine focuses on Landscape, Seascape and Cityscape Photography especially involving Long Exposure Photography and features Articles and Interviews with Photographers from all over the world.

"Transform" was selected for the LACDA International New Media Expo in Downtown Los Angeles DigitalArt.La Exhibition. The Exhibition selection was juried by Howard Fox, Curator of Contemporary Art, LACounty Museum of Art (LACMA). The Exhibition will open on August 14th.

"Intertidal" was selected for the The Center for Fine Art Photography's 2008 International Exhibition of Fine Art Photography. The Exhibition was curated by Hossein Farmani. Hossein Farmani is the founder of the Lucie Awards, a gallery owner, and photographer.
The 2008 International Exhibition of Fine Art Photography will be on display at The Center for Fine Art Photography from October 3rd - November 01th, 2008.

"Ghostly Tide" was seleced for the Royal Photographic Society's 151st International Print Exhibition. Details of the Exhibition and a full list of the Exhibition Touring Schedule.

"Intertidal" was selected for the LACDA Top 40 International Exhibition April 10 - May 3, 2008 (reception Thursday April 10 7- 9PM). The Los Angeles Centre for Digital Art is dedicated to the propagation of all forms of digital art and technology that constitute our moment in culture.
The current show at ICETWICE Fine Art gallery has been extended until May 30.

A Solo Show, "The Congenital Landscape" will be on during February - March 2008 at ICETWICE Fine Art Gallery in Milton Keynes UK. The Show will feature 13 works selected from all Portfolios. The exhibition will open on Februay 5th and will run until 31st March.
4 of my images were selected for inclusion in the Harvests of New Millennium Fine Art and Poetry Annual Collection. The book will be published in January 2008.
2007
I was given a Double Page Spread in the Royal Photographic Society's "Portfolio One" featuring both "Retired Groyne" and "Calm before the Storm".
The first Royal Photographic Society Portfolio was published in late October.
Comprising over 200 pages and with dimensions of 24x26.5cm, Portfolio One is limited edition, full colour, high quality, hard bound and printed with a black cloth cover.
Portfolio One covers current styles and trends within the Society and the photography of its members, advancing the art and science of photography, as well as being a record of the Society at this time.
"Keyhaven Marshes" was awarded a Bronze Medal in the London Photographic Association's 2007 Landscape competition. In addition, the "Inertia" series was awarded a Finalists Distinction.

The Image "Stag Rock Study 4" (Black Water) was selected for inclusion in the Centre for Fine Art Photography 2007 International Exhibition of Fine Art Photography. The Exhibition will be on display at The Center for Fine Art Photography, Fort Collins, Colorado from Oct 12th - Nov 10th, 2007.
The Exhibition was curated by Roger Reynolds Hon FRPS FBPPA, the immediate past president of The Royal Photographic Society, and Mr. Raymond Spence FRPS, Warwickshire College School of Art.

Steen was a featured Artist in the online Art Magazine Art4Heart in their Issue 16 | June Edition.
The feature was supported by a selection of my images taken from across all portfolios.

March and April have been very busy and I have several new Images that I need to develop over the coming months. Some of the new images have now been published in Portfolio 3.
A selection of Prints from Portfolio 1 and Portfolio 2 are now on permanent show at the New York Gallery PhotoArts. They can be viewed at their Online Exhibition.

My image "Stag Rock Study 3" made the front page of the U.K. magazine Black & White Photography supported by a short article featuring the "Inertia" Series of Images.

"Calm before the Storm" was part of the exhibition "Best of VIPC" showing during the month of January at Prigion's Palace - Venice.
